Job Summary:
The Vice President of Marketing will lead all marketing efforts for a home services company specializing in turf management. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, brand management, and direct-to-consumer marketing within the home services or related industries. As a key member of the executive team, the VP of Marketing will oversee all marketing initiatives, including digital campaigns, content creation, partnerships, and customer retention strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to position the company as a leader in turf management services.
- Collaborate with the executive team to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives, driving customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
- Lead brand positioning and messaging to differentiate the company in the competitive landscape.
- Digital Marketing & Lead Generation:
- Oversee the creation and execution of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including SEO, SEM, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
- Implement performance-driven lead generation strategies to increase inbound inquiries and optimize conversion rates.
- Leverage data analytics to monitor campaign performance, identify trends, and make data-driven adjustments to maximize ROI.
- Brand & Customer Experience:
- Drive brand consistency across all marketing channels, ensuring that all messaging reflects the company’s value proposition and industry expertise.
- Develop a customer-centric marketing approach focused on delivering an exceptional experience across every touchpoint.
- Oversee the creation of compelling content (video, blogs, social media, etc.) that engages customers and showcases the company’s expertise in turf management.
- Partnerships & Community Engagement:
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships with local and regional businesses, industry influencers, and community organizations to build brand presence and credibility.
- Spearhead local marketing initiatives, including sponsorships, events, and community outreach efforts to strengthen relationships within key markets.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and mentor a marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and high performance.
- Establish clear goals and KPIs for the marketing department, regularly assessing performance and driving continuous improvement.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and consultants to support marketing objectives.
- Customer Retention & Loyalty Programs:
- Develop and implement customer retention programs to maximize repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Work closely with the operations team to gather customer feedback and insights, translating them into actionable marketing strategies.
- Monitor customer satisfaction metrics (NPS, reviews, etc.) and implement initiatives to improve the overall customer experience.
- Budget & Performance Management:
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across campaigns and initiatives.
- Track and report on marketing performance, using analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and inform future strategies.
- Ensure that all marketing activities meet regulatory and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably within the home services, landscaping, or related industries.
- Proven success in driving customer acquisition and brand growth through integrated marketing strategies.
- Strong expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, and email marketing.
