We are currently searching for an experienced business analyst to partner with IT to aid in exciting digital transformation efforts.
Primary responsibilities include liaising between IT and the stakeholders, improving the quality of IT services, and analyzing business needs and gathering project requirements. You will play a key role in translating project requests into software requirements for the development team.

Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
- Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals to identify and resolve systems issues.
- Conduct interviews to gather and document user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
- Identify and establish scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.
- Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed projects or systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.
- Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
- Lead design sessions to identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation to drive business value, improving information process flows and operational efficiencies.
Acquisition & Deployment
- Coordinate the planning, design, development, training and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications.
- Define and document test cases, coordinate functional and system testing, and collaborate with QA teams to ensure that solutions meet quality standards and user expectations.
- Gather, analyze, and report on end-user reviews for modified and new systems.
Operational Management
- Manage the development product backlog, stakeholders, and customer needs.
- Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating systems across the organization.
- Identify metrics and targets that will help track the IT team’s progress towards strategic goals.
- Facilitate change management activities, including impact analysis, stakeholder engagement, and training, to support the adoption of existing and new technologies and processes.
- Create and manage technical documentation including design specifications, architecture diagrams, and user guides.
Formal Education & Certification
- College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, computer science, accounting, or management information systems and 7-10 years of related work experience. PMP or Certified Scrum Master are preferred.
Knowledge & Experience
- Strong business knowledge, comfort in working and leading a team of developers.
- Comfort with owning an issue from creation through resolution and provide status reporting to management.
- Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
- Familiarity with database systems, programming languages, and web technologies, with preferred working technical knowledge of SQL.
- Understanding of application development and software development lifecycle concepts.
- Extensive practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.
- Extensive experience with core software applications, particularly Microsoft Office and Jira.
- Proven experience in the operation and analysis of database software, and standards, as well as data retrieval methodologies and applications.
- Demonstrated project management skills using agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.

ENVIRONMENT
Most work is conducted in a comfortable office environment but exposure to site conditions may also occur. Personal protective equipment must be worn in all areas as required. Although the work usually is not considered inherently dangerous, must be careful while performing onsite service.
