Russell Tobin is seeking a Clinical Lab Technologist to support our client’s medical facility in Rochester, MN. This is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Will be supporting a Clinical Mass Spectrometry Department.
Job Title: Clinical Lab Technologist (Central Processing Lab)
Location: Rochester, MN
Job Type: Contract (with potential to extend or go perm)
Est. Start Date: November 2024
Length: 3 – 4 months
Hours: 10:30am - 7:00pm, Mon-Fri
Pay Rate: $28.00 - $32.50 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Performs pre-analytic specimen processing
- Operates a variety of lab equipment
- Enters information and test orders into the lab computer system
- Responds to high volume phone calls
- Ensures patients details are correct on specimens
- May perform reagent preparation
- Manage work unit supply inventory
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a human biological science is requiredSchool Transcripts required upon application.Experience with operation and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation and assay systems is desirable.
- Must be capable of producing accurate results under time constraints, multi-tasking, and performing in a fast-paced and changing environment.
