RETS has been retained by our client to recruit a retail (grocery-anchored) Development/Construction Manager in Walnut Creek, CA. The ideal candidate is with a general contractor and wants to work for a developer. The role is with a retail REIT - one of the most successful owner, operator & developers of Class A grocery-anchored retail centers. The role will have responsibility for construction/development of ground-up retail developments, as well as upgrades/improvements to existing grocery anchored centers (~150,000 SF on average). RETS is seeking candidates who have experience with a general contractor in the construction/development of retail real estate (preferably grocery anchored). Candidates must have:
- 4-year degree, preferably in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Real Estate Development.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience with a general contractor with retail assets.
- Experience with site improvements and utility set up.
