Unarmed -> Armed Security Officer
Location: Downtown San Diego
Salary: $21-23 per hour
Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week

We have an exciting new opportunity for Unarmed Security Officers interested in becoming an Armed Security Officer. If you qualify, and have a passion for safety, we are helping sponsor the Armed Security Guard license. What You’ll Do:
⭐ Be the Hero: Provide a visible and reassuring presence, keeping passengers safe and secure as they embark on their journeys.
⭐ On Patrol: Keep the energy up as you monitor stations, vehicles, and platforms—each day is a new journey where you’ll encounter diverse passengers and unique situations.
⭐ Response Ready: Jump into action when incidents arise. Use your skills to de-escalate situations and keep the atmosphere calm and collected.
⭐ Team Up: Work hand-in-hand with local law enforcement and emergency services when needed. You’ll be part of a safety squad!
⭐ Write the Story: Document incidents and observations with detailed reports. Your words will help shape our security protocols.
⭐ Rule Keeper: Enforce transit rules while keeping a friendly demeanor—after all, you’re the friendly face of safety!
What You’ll Need:
✔️ Licenses Required: A valid Guard Card and a completed (or willing to complete the) PSI exam.
✔️ Experience: Experience within the security field.
✔️ Driver’s License: You’ll need a valid Driver’s License to navigate our transit territory.
✔️ Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
✔️ Age Requirement: You must be at least 21 years old to apply.
✔️ Work Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the United States.
✔️ Background Check: Be ready to pass a background check and urine drug test during the onboarding process.
