Job Title: Customer Service Administrator
Location: Glendale, AZ
Duration: 6 months contract (May extend depending on the client needs)
Work schedule: 1st shift
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle customer communication, warranty disposition, and order entry management.
- Administer warranty and maintenance agreements to meet business objectives and customer performance expectations.
- Manage and provide direction for major customer accounts, including interpreting requests, monitoring performance and delivery, and investigating complaints.
- Negotiate pricing, discounts, and compliance with warranty or maintenance agreements.
- Provide solutions to customer issues related to costs or schedules and re-prioritize repair schedules to meet customer commitments.
- Investigate and resolve claims or complaints, coordinate with technical/quality teams, and handle billing discrepancies.
- Approve special price quotations, allowances, deductions, and adjustments.
- Act as the point of contact for customer accounts, coordinate visits, audits, and presentations, and maintain long-term business relationships.
- Analyze operational records to recommend improvements and propose changes in methods or procedures.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace industry regulations and federal/state requirements.
- Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the division.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Business Administration and experience which has provided both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field.
- 6 or more years of related experience in technical product support or contract administration.
- Proficient with standard business application software and specialized data analysis or materials systems (e.g., electronic data interface (EDI) or manufacturing resource planning (MRP) systems).
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience in order entry and customer support.
- Experience working in an Aerospace/Manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Ability to negotiate complex customer requirements across multiple teams.
- Expertise in resolving customer complaints and coordinating technical and quality issues.
- Leadership experience in customer support or related functions is a plus.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and aerospace regulations (e.g., FAA).
