THE ROLE

Executive sponsorship of the business’ enablement function yields a foundation for ongoing success. Our Sales Enablement team is integral to our drive for customer acquisition and revenue generation. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced sales enablement professional with a proven ability to deliver and manage end-to-end programming from build to launch and beyond. We are looking for a Sales Enablement Strategist with excellent executive presence, proven business/sales acumen, the ability to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and a strong desire to learn + grow in a performance-driven, goal-oriented working environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE
- Collaborate with diverse internal/external stakeholders and subject matter experts, including but not limited to C-Suite, Sales Leadership, Sales Operations, Marketing, Product, and Partners/Alliances, to cohesively deliver on shared goals and performance outcomes.
- Align with Certinia’s overarching Go-To-Market vision. Leverage leadership skills to continuously ensure sales enablement motion supports scalable and sustainable growth for the broader organization.
- Influence internal and external stakeholders, inspiring those around you to proactively act on new or innovative ideas, strategies, and business goals.
- Build end-to-end sales enablement programming from the ground up. From development to launch to ongoing measurement…. you’ll be hands-on and directly involved in building Certinia’s core sales enablement programs and associated corporate initiatives.
- Deliver enablement that meets the learner where they are at, exercising a multi-modality approach to talent development, adjusting their process on the job as needed. You will have a hand in leading virtual and in-person instructor-led sessions, where you’ll leverage various techniques including but not limited to: peer-to-peer learning, just-in-time learning, experiential learning, hands-on learning, gamification, and more.
- Measure the ongoing success of your enablement programming via quantitative and qualitative indicators. Meticulously leverage data to drive decisions, adjusting programming as needed in order to achieve measurable results.
- Grow personally and professionally, actively engaging in coaching opportunities and career development planning.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
A background that includes…..
- 5+ years in sales enablement with a demonstrated progression of increased scope and responsibility throughout your career.
- 2+ years as an individual sales contributor and/or a similar quota-carrying role.
- Ability to travel up to 20% with advance notice.
Skills and abilities that illustrate you are a……
- Performance-driven producer: You’ve got a track record of proven success producing programmatic outputs specific to sales enablement (onboarding, upskilling/reskilling, leadership development, or similar initiatives) and exceeding defined KPIs in metric-driven, performance-based working environments. You are skilled in leveraging data to make decisions and inform sales enablement initiatives.
- Expert communicator: you are an executive-level communicator with a demonstrated ability to engage global audiences as a presenter in virtual and in-person training settings. You have experience facilitating end-to-end sales training programs in person and virtually
- Team player: You can manage multiple internal/external stakeholders and ongoing programs and initiatives simultaneously, collaborating with team members to achieve shared goals and outcomes.
- Lifelong learner: The ideal candidate for this role has a track record of proactively pursuing personal and professional development opportunities and a desire to continue learning new skills and abilities. You are open to hands-on coaching, feedback, and mentorship.
- Comfortable with change: You have a proven ability to adapt, align, and adjust to ongoing business changes on the individual and team levels. You’re comfortable leveraging problem-solving skills in environments with increased ambiguity.
WHAT ELSE WOULD BE GREAT
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- While the role is open to remote candidates in the US market, an individual based in Austin, TX, who can work a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) would be preferred.
- Experience working for SaaS companies in the ERP, PSA, or HRIS space.
- Direct experience leveraging value-selling sales methodology or similar frameworks as a
sales enablement and/or direct sales contributor.
- Direct experience leveraging Seismic, Salesforce CRM, ZoomInfo, or similar sales
enablement technologies on a day-to-day basis is a plus.
- Demonstrated understanding of adult learning methodologies and/or frameworks, with
an exhibited ability to simplify and incorporate into enablement programming, is beneficial.
- Experience with LMS systems, instructional design, and/or collaborating with
instructional design teams is beneficial.
Salary Range: $125K - $130K base salary
