Position Overview
Meet is seeking a highly skilled expert in pharmacometrics to develop and implement innovative quantitative models in the field of neurodegenerative diseases. The ideal candidate will have exceptional technical capabilities, strong leadership experience, and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply advanced modeling techniques to translate complex problems into precise, insightful models.
- Develop and execute mechanistic PK/PD models, including physiologically-based pharmacokinetic (PBPK), quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP) models, and clinical trial simulations.
- Utilize cutting-edge quantitative methods such as machine learning, deep learning, literature meta-analysis, and more to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Represent the Pharmacometrics function, effectively communicating modeling insights to senior management and decision-making boards.
- Formulate pharmacometric strategies for Translational Medicine, focusing on longitudinal biomarkers and integrating big data from various sources.
- Lead and mentor scientific and technical team members, fostering their professional growth and enhancing their impact within the disease area.
Qualifications
- PhD or PharmD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Clinical Pharmacology, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience applying advanced mathematical and statistical techniques in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across disciplines.
- Expertise or experience in neuroscience is highly desirable.
