Essential Job Duties Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Monitors timekeeping, verifies hours worked on temporary labor, and compiles labor utilization reports.
- Develops training and safety materials to be used in the facility.
- Performs time studies on job functions, recommends standards to be used and recommends efficiency improvements.
- Maintains accurate attendance records on all peak season employees. Monitors time clock to ensure all employees are clocked in and out and makes any necessary corrections.
- Assigns schedules, position and work location during holiday hiring job fairs. Enters schedule information in database.
- Analyzes packaging needs for all new products to be shipped, and assigns item points on all inventory SKUs and performs audits on index points.
- Performs quality control inspections of job activities.
- Provides back up for answering incoming phone calls and incoming faxes.
- Assists in the processing of office paper work, employee record maintenance.
- Supports facility supervisor and management by compiling reports.
- Coordinates all employee communications, updates bulletin boards with accurate information.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- PC experience including Excel and Word.
- Experience in Business office environment, warehouse/distribution work.
Schedule Requirements:
- This is a full time, temporary position for the holiday season for 2nd shift starting at 5pm. Please plan to work up to 12 hour shifts, 7 days per week during the peak season (December, off holidays).
