Their South Carolina division is expanding rapidly, and we're seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to join their team. Position Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring successful project delivery, maintaining client satisfaction, and meeting high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in at least one of their core sectors: Healthcare, K-12, or Higher Education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, plan, and manage all phases of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Oversee project scope, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Monitor and enforce safety standards and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular project updates to clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and transparency.
- Manage contract negotiations, change orders, and project documentation.
- Proactively resolve any project challenges to avoid delays or budget overruns.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management within the Healthcare, K-12, or Higher Education sectors.
- Proven track record of delivering construction projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and subcontractors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar).
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- PMP certification is a plus.
