The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic Customer Service Agent to join our onsite team in Hauppauge, NY. In this role, you’ll work closely with both our customers and engineers, helping to troubleshoot issues, answer technical questions, and ensure our customers receive the support they need. If you're passionate about automotive electronics and enjoy problem-solving, this is the perfect job for you!
What You’ll Do:
- Be the face of Z Automotive: Provide fast, friendly, and knowledgeable support through phone, email, and social media platforms.
- Dive deep into tech: Gain hands-on experience with our products by installing and testing them in vehicles. Know our gear inside and out!
- Be a product expert: Offer top-notch troubleshooting, installation guidance, and technical support to our customers, dealers, and distributors.
- Drive improvements: Listen to customer feedback and work with our engineers to improve our products. Your voice matters!
- Engage with our community: Participate in social media discussions and engage with customers to improve our online presence and gather valuable insights.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience troubleshooting electronic systems and devices.
- Previous experience in customer service, help desk, or tech support (preferred but not required—we’ll train the right candidate!).
- Strong computer literacy (Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android).
- Excellent communication skills: You’re not just technically savvy, but you also know how to explain complex issues clearly.
- A natural problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves finding solutions.
- Team player attitude: We’re a small crew, and we’re looking for someone who’s collaborative, reliable, and detail oriented.
- Must be punctual, with strong time-management skills and a commitment to providing stellar service.
- Automotive passion: Whether you're a Jeep, Dodge, or muscle car fanatic, your enthusiasm for cars will shine through in your work!
- Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
