1. Job Purpose
The Assembly Technician will support the production team by handling tasks related to assembling parts and products, including inventory counts, part clean-up, part building, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
2. Duties and Responsibilities
Assembly Support:
- Perform tasks such as inventory counts, part clean-up, subassembly, and final assembly of products.
- Ensure all parts, subassemblies, and final products meet established quality standards.
- Inspect parts and assemblies during and after the assembly process to ensure they meet quality standards, and promptly report any issues or defects to the Production Manager.
- Follow assembly guidelines and ensure accurate completion of tasks to meet production schedules.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Production Manager to support all assembly-related tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth production operations and timely resolution of any issues.
3. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in assembly or a similar production role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards in all tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
4. Working Conditions
- This job is fully on-site and requires physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting.
- The work environment may include exposure to noise, dust, and other conditions typical of a production facility.
