The Operations organization within the Space & Airborne Systems (SAS) Segment is seeking a Software Engineer to help advance Business Operations and Business Intelligence capabilities in support of numerous Operations and program performance execution improvement initiatives and other broad business priorities.
The candidate will serve as a primary developer, data integrator, and support POC for planned SAS segment BI products and automation initiatives. The individual will also be responsible with coordination with numerous members of the Information Technology (IT) team, other cross-functional stakeholders, and division/sector customers.
We follow a 9/80 work schedule, and this role is onsite in Palm Bay, FL.
For this particular assignment, must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Essential Functions:
- Develop, validate, maintain, and enhance enterprise-wide business operations and business intelligence (BI) products.
- Provide business intelligence and reporting automation services to various stakeholder communities across the segment.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and develop project requirements from concepts-of-operations.
- Manage, develop, and deploy software projects with Atlassian tool suites using Agile development framework.
- Develop SharePoint, web interface, and software solutions to solve business, data collection, and data integration problems
- Must be able to prepare and deliver presentations to executive, remote, and unfamiliar audiences.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years experience developing and implementing full stack web applications using common technology stacks such as: Angular, React, C# ASP.net, Django, .Net Core or similar.
- 3+ years experience with Atlassian (or similar) tool suites implementing Agile development framework.
- Self-starter with experience leading projects to completion and coordinating across numerous cross-functional customers and stakeholders.
- Bachelors degree (in Engineering, STEM, or other related technical field) and a minimum of 4+ years of applicable experience, OR Masters degree (in Engineering, STEM, or other related technical field) and 7+ years of applicable experience.
