Overview
The Director of Marketing will be responsible for the development of branding, digital, and eCommerce marketing strategies to build awareness and drive a profitable business strategy. This role also works closely with our Sales and Operations teams to ensure appropriate pricing strategies are in place and leads the team to ensure all marketing campaigns are created and executed in a timely manner.
Job Duties
· Leads the Marketing team to drive growth and profitability through key marketing processes and initiatives, including development of the Company’s marketing plan across all channels, developing promotions, and positioning products.
· Develop the Company’s branding strategy, including identifying goals and brand guidelines, understanding the business landscape, and building guidelines on how the brand is to be presented.
· Set and achieve strategic goals related to advertising, campaign initiatives and social media metrics.
· Partners with the Vice President of Sales, Sales Directors, and Branch Managers to research product demand and coordinate marketing efforts to drive campaigns.
· Maximize online reputation for the Company and individual locations. Respond to reviews, implement SEO strategies and maximize website performance.
· Attend trade shows and major events. Provide support on product positioning.
· Supervise the department and provide guidance and feedback to other marketing professionals. Ensure objectives and efforts of the marketing department are aligned with the organization’s objectives.
· Ensure proper resource allocation amongst projects, prioritizing critical campaigns.
· Build strategic partnerships and serve as the organization’s agent towards external parties
· Performs additional duties as required by Management
Minimum Requirements
· At least 3 years experience as a Marketing Director or senior Marketing leader required.
· Prior experience leading marketing teams, developing brand marketing and positioning strategies required.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent required. Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing preferred.
· Fluency in Mandarin Chinese required.
· Must be available to respond to client or team concerns at night or on weekends, as required.

· Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators.
· Ability to lead and motivate a team. Solve issues to ensure success of advertising campaigns and increasing social media presence.
· Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
· Prior experience in manufacturing, CPG or Cannabis spaces preferred.
· Ability to effectively problem solve, multi-task and effectively manage time to deliver results.
