A pharmaceutical company in Connecticut has a great Remote opportunity awaiting a newSupply Chain Logistics Consultant. In this role, the Supply Chain Logistics Consultant (Remote) will be responsible for reviewing and processing the company's Global and US import and export shipments.
Responsibilities:TheSupply Chain Logistics Consultant (Remote) will:
- Determining appropriate import/ export requirements based on commodity and shipment details
- Preparing proforma / commercial invoices for international shipments
- Instruct customs brokers on import entry requirements
- Ensure compliance with governmental regulations globally
- Conduct and completes trade compliance planning for imports globally
- Log activity on a transactional basis for the purposes of trend analyses, performance metric reports, recordkeeping, and productivity evaluations
- Interface with management, internal/ external customers, and suppliers
- Work closely with Clinical Supply teams to support related import activities
- Supporting the investigation of corrective action/preventative action as applicable
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications- 4+ years of relevant work experience
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- Computer savvy
- Solid problem solving and time management skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
