Join a collaborative team at a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in Harlan, Iowa. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will:
- Provide in-person and telehealth therapy, offering individual, couples, family, and group sessions.
- Evaluate mental health symptoms, diagnose, and create treatment plans using confidential, evidence-based therapy.
- Conduct occasional consultations in the inpatient and emergency departments, typically a few times per quarter, supported by regional contracts.
- Work alongside 5 office support staff, 3 medication management providers, and a team of 11 therapists, including the Director of Behavioral Health and Clinical Coordinator.
Work Schedule
Enjoy flexibility in your schedule with options for a 4-day work week. As a Mental Health Clinician you will:
- Hours of operation: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday open 7am-7pm, Wednesday 7am-5pm, and Friday 8am-4pm
- Create your own schedule (current need for Thursday evenings and Fridays)
- Typically see 24 hours of patient appointments per week, with some flexibility depending on the provider's schedule.
Qualifications
We are seeking a Mental Health Clinician with:
- Iowa licensure as an LMHC, LISW, or LMFT (provisional licenses accepted).
- Open to all experience levels; strong communication skills and work ethic are essential.
- A commitment to ongoing training in evidence-based practices, with opportunities for grant-funded professional development.
- A desire to specialize based on personal strengths and experience.
Compensation & Benefits
- A competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $90,000, up $10k sign-on + production bonuses.
- On-call pay of $2.50 per hour, with time-and-a-half for callback hours.
