What you'll do
- Create and manage supply plans for HD final assembly sites, aiming to reduce inventories and operating costs while maximizing customer service excellence
- Establish inventory targets to achieve desired service levels
- Evaluate and manage planning parameters such as lead times, work-in-progress (WIP) exclusions, and minimum order quantities (MOQs)
- Review inventory tolerances and implement necessary adjustments for optimal inventory levels
- Collaborate with the Demand team to address forecast discrepancies
- Lead initiatives across the entire product life cycle, encompassing both new product development and end-of-life phases. Creation and setup of new items and establishes inventory and planning strategies for pipeline builds
- Analysis of Excess and Obsolete (E&O) inventory for new launches - Assess inventory risks associated with discontinuations, hard cutovers, and running changes
- Implement short/mid/long-term risk mitigation strategies and ensure effective communication to support the S&OE process
- Conduct routine supplier meetings to review scorecards
- All other duties as assigned
Who you are
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- A minimum of 3+ years of Logistics, Operations/Manufacturing, or relevant supply chain experience is required.
- Demonstrated understanding of the End to End Supply Chain flow and interdependencies across functions is required.
- An entrepreneurial self-starter with strong analytical skills, oral and written communication skills, and the ability to partner and communicate across functional levels is required.
- Ability to manage projects and embrace change.
- MS Office proficiency, specifically with Excel and PowerPoint is required.
- SAP/IBP knowledge is required.
- APICS certification a plus; not required
- Experience with Six Sigma/Process Excellence tools, training and/or certification
