Pay: $19 to $20.50/hour (depending on experience)
Education:
- Must have completed a recent state approved Nurse Aide Training Program
- Must obtain Hawaii state certification as a Nursing Assistant from Prometric Hawaii within 4 months from the date of hire
- Must obtain CPR and first aide card

Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Receive daily assignments and review each resident's Nursing Care Plan
- Perform basic nursing services to assist the residents to regain, attain, or maintain an optimal level of functioning including feeding, bathing, dressing and grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring and ambulating, communicating and socializing
- Perform all duties in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures and governmental rules and regulations
- Report pertinent information in a timely manner to the charge nurse
- Complete all charting and record keeping requirements
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information
- Assure that the resident's physical environment is maintained in a clean, orderly, safe and comfortable manner and that supplies are cleaned and properly stored at all times
- Make and clean beds and perform other housekeeping duties that relate to resident care
- Attend and participate in staff meetings, in-service educational programs and on-the-job training as directed/scheduled
- Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures to maximize the potential abilities of each resident
Position Requirements:
- Must have sincere desire to work with the elderly and those with limited capacity for self care
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including working weekends and holidays and variable shifts
