Optomi, in partnership with a market leader in the entertainment industry is seeking a Software Engineer for a hybrid position out of their Orlando, FL office. This candidate will be responsible for leading the transition from three legacy systems to a new integrated platform, ensuring accurate data mapping and loading. Additionally, this candidate will be responsible for implementing validation protocols to ensure the integrity and accuracy of migrated data, resolving discrepancies as needed. Experience in Food and Beverage/Supply Chain, encompassing purchasing, warehousing, storage, and inventory management is essential.

Experience of the right candidate:
- Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in a STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics).
- 5+ years in developing and implementing scalable software systems and client-facing web applications, particularly in Supply Chain ERP integration.
- Strong expertise in Java, with experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and Terraform.
- Proficient in MongoDB Atlas, including data modeling and performance optimization.
- Familiar with Eclipse, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, Maven, and Jenkins.
- In-depth knowledge of SOAP and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with forecasting and replenishing solutions, specifically Blue Yonder.
- Familiarity with Crunchtime ERP systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on performance optimization.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.

- Implement validation protocols to ensure the integrity and accuracy of migrated data, resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Analyze and recommend improvements for purchasing, warehousing, and inventory workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
