Senior Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, specification, and production processes for mechanical systems in a range of project types including commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare, and educational.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring that all aspects are completed on schedule and meet the necessary technical standards.
- Conduct field observations and provide guidance during the installation and commissioning phases to ensure systems are built and operate as designed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders, to integrate mechanical designs into overall project plans.
- Lead the creation of detailed mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP software.
- Review designs for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments to improve performance, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Stay current with industry standards, building codes, and technologies to ensure that all designs meet regulatory and client requirements.
- Mentor and support junior mechanical engineers, providing guidance and sharing technical knowledge.

Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with demonstrated expertise in project management across various industries.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (required) and Revit MEP.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- LEED Accredited Professional is a plus, with a strong understanding of sustainable design principles.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and lead a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present ideas and collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients.
