Location: Anderson, IN
Initial term: 5 months
Average hours: 50-60 hours/week (OT 1.5x)
Project Overview
The Anderson, Indiana factory is replacing an existing high-speed filler. This has involved complete demolition of the existing equipment and hygienic room and construction of a new hygienic room in the middle of an operating food factory. Construction is scheduled to be ready for equipment installation in February 2025, at which time our equipment vendor will take responsibility for installing their equipment, with our GC team responsible for making final utility connections and completing room fit-out by late April 2025.
Team
This is the third major project the team is completing with our GC partner and the same group of local subs, with over 145,000 man-hours worked and zero recordable injuries in more than two years.
In addition to our GC Team, we directly hire dedicated construction management and safety specialists that are very familiar with the Anderson site to oversee construction activities and Permit-To-Work authorization. Based on our past experience with our equipment vendor and their installation subcontractors, we will be supplementing our Safety supervision with a Sr. Safety Manager during the 10-week installation process.
