We are expanding our operations in the U.S. and seeking an experienced Event/Conference Planner to join our team in Las Vegas.
Role Overview:
We are looking for an energetic Business Development Specialist to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will manage all communication and logistics on behalf of our corprate clients, acting as the liaison between clients, venues, and organizers. Whether you're an experienced professional or a recent graduate, you will have the opportunity to grow in this role while ensuring the successful execution of events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact and provide product information to prospective customers
- Research and coordinate for corprate events, ensuring suitability for client needs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, event organizers, and venues, managing all communication and logistics.
- Negotiate contracts with venues and vendors, ensuring favorable terms and accuracy.
- You will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies, identifying new market opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth.
- Staying abreast of company's software products, solutions and services to aid in product development based on client needs.
- Establish and maintain robust relationships with key vendors and partners to gather critical insights and feedback.
- Track all event details, logistics, and expenses in Google Sheets and the company’s internal project management system.
- Provide prompt response by addressing client requests with a sense of urgency.
- Track and report on expenses, receipts, and costs associated with each client.
- Suggest and implement ideas for process improvements.
- Provide product insights and implementation ideas for our SaaS software product.
- Provide logistical and administrative support as needed.
- Prepare detailed reports for internal project management and event reviews.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, Graphic Design or a related field.
- New graduates with a passion for event planning and strong organizational skills are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience reviewing contracts.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with high attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Chinese and English is highly preferred due to the global nature of our clients and partnerships.
- Previous experience in the hospitality or event planning industry is a plus.
