Position: DevOps Engineer (Senior role)

Description
DevOps resource who will integrate into the CDP Program Teams solutions delivery team. This resource will assist in building the infrastructure and pipeline development for data assets into a new AWS technology stack using Immuta, Starburst, Collibra, Databricks, Alteryx, and Tableau.
BACKGROUND OF CANDIDATE:
We're seeking a candidate who is not only technically strong in CI/CD and cloud automation but also experienced in mentorship, cross-functional collaboration, and security compliance. Should be comfortable in an Agile environment, capable of solving complex problems with scripting and automation, and experienced with tools like Jenkins, AWS, Git, and Maven. This is a hands-on role that requires both technical expertise and the ability to coach and support application developers.
Key Activities
- Defines and documents continuous integration / continuous deployment best practices
- Solves difficult problems with scripting language across multiple environments
- Evaluates new tools, technologies, and processes to improve speed, efficiency, and scalability for continuous integration
- Coaches’ application developers on proper techniques for building scalable applications
- Experience in automation, testing, Operations is required.
- Experience in AWS, Python, API, Scripting, Ansible, Cloud
- Extensive hands-on experience with configuration/build/release tools such as Jenkins and Maven.
- Experience with the Linux operating system and bash scripting.
- Knowledgeable with source control tools like Git, BitBucket, Subversion, or AWS CodeCommit.
- Familiarity with binary/artifact repositories like Maven, Nexus, Artifactory, etc.
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira or VersionOne
