Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and workspaces according to infection control protocols.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care post-treatment.
- Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care.
- Maintain patient records and manage appointment scheduling.
- Assist in inventory management and stocking dental supplies as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
- Current Dental Assistant Certification or equivalent is required.
- Valid CPR Certification.
