The Executive Director of Nursing at Martha’s Vineyard Hospital will oversee the clinical operations and personnel management, of our primary care and specialty practices. Working closely with the Chief Nurse Officer and the Executive Director of Practice Operations, this role will ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with nurses, physicians, and other clinical and administrative leaders to achieve program goals and objectives. The Executive Director of Nursing will develop and mentor a high-performing nursing team, managing budgets and resources efficiently.
We are seeking the ideal candidate to have the following:
- BSN required (Current registration in nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts)
- Master’s Degree in Nursing, Business Administration or other related degree strongly preferred; enrollment in a master’s program after 1 year required
- Minimum of 10 years of nursing experience
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in nursing administration.
