The top-performing systematic hedge fund in Boston is currently searching for a Senior level software engineer who specializes in High Performance Computing, scalability, and distributed systems. This role is 100% hands-on and will allow you to make a significant impact on the most elite team at this firm.
Responsibilities
- Lead deep architectural discussions to ensure the deployment of an impactful product.
- Participate in building a data platform that can support real-time data in the size of petabytes.
- Build an HPC platform that supports the Research System Team.
- Production support of the platform to avoid disruption to investment processes
- Be a hands-on leader and act as the liaison between technology and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Masters's degree in Computer Science, or related STEM major.
- 8+ Years of Experience in impactful roles.
- Experience with High Performance Computing, and cloud computing with AWS.
- Experience working with data warehousing, and/or database systems, including processing frameworks.
- Expert in Python. Exposure to C# and Rust is a plus.
- Financial services exposure or interest.
