Key Areas of Responsibility:
A client of Insight Global is looking for a quality engineer to join their team in Leominster, MA or Greensboro, NC plant. They will be responsible for mapping their processes/ updating the processes already in place and studying what will work best.
Their day to day will be:
- Create, implement, and maintain quality procedures and processes in conformance with ISO9001 and the company's Quality System.
- Analyze quality data and recommend changes in quality procedures and processes.
- Ensure calibration of quality instruments is performed.
- Exercise independent discretion and judgement to recommend solutions to quality issues.
- Ensure the company's Quality System is implemented and maintained in a fashion that assures all manufactured products are of the highest quality.
- Lead and/or participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to quality.
Minimum Requirements:
- Documentation skills
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 Years Quality Engineer
- ISO experience
- Read and interpret professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations
