Job Description
This local government IT department is looking to add a field service/Desktop technician to its team. We are looking for a qualified candidate that can trouble shoot hardware problems, break fix, set up new equipment, and re-image. The company is upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11 company wide which will be thousands of PCs in various different locations around Fort Worth. Looking for someone with Windows 11 experience and Office 365 migration and support on endpoint computers. They will also be responding to trouble tickets from the helpdesk. This position requires a candidate to drive to local locations using personal vehicle with gas reimbursed. First shift Monday-Friday.
Requirements:
• 2 years of experience with deployment and support of desktops and laptops.
• 2 Years of experience supporting current Microsoft Office Suite (Office 365).
• 2 Years of experience providing software support for any variety of desktop applications
• 2 Years of experience supporting current Windows Operating Systems
• 2 Years of experience with direct involvement in hardware break-fix processes for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Knowledge of ticketing systems for documenting and completing work
• Knowledge of Windows installation/support/troubleshooting tools and working with Microsoft support
• Knowledge of Windows profile management for supporting information transfers between computers
• Knowledge of Active Directory, SCCM, and other enterprise related support tools
