Plaintiffs Class Action Attorney
The national plaintiffs’ law firm Meyer Wilson presents a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial attorney to join its class action practice.
We seek an attorney who has the talent and expertise to step into a busy practice as a leader, under the direction and supervision of one of the principals. This position is a low to mid level role with a tremendous opportunity for financial and professional growth.
We have several dozen class actions cases in numerous areas of law, but with special emphasis on data privacy matters. But if you have ideas of your own about the cases we should do next, we want to hear about that if you join us.
This position is located at the firm’s headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. For the right fit, a remote or partially remote opportunity would be considered.
Who You Are
You make things happen and you are ready to move up in your career. You’re all about tenacity, versatility, and grit. You solve problems and have a passion for performance. You are disciplined, organized, and motivated. You are a high achiever who wants to be an integral part of a growing entrepreneurial law firm with a strong national reputation.
Perhaps you’ve been in Biglaw for a while and would like to try life on the other side of the “v.” Perhaps you’ve done a federal clerkship or two, and you’re not sure what’s next.
You have at least two years of complex litigation experience in state and/or federal court. You have experience with drafting discovery, managing the meet-and-confer process, taking and defending depositions, and especially with research and writing. Your briefs are always excellent. You work collaboratively with paralegals and other legal support staff.
You can leverage technology and case management software to most efficiently manage cases. You frequently use, or will quickly learn to use, electronic dashboards and case reporting software. Experience with Salesforce/Litify is a big plus.

Travel
* This position requires some travel, as our clients’ needs demand.
Salary
Competitive salary commensurate with experience, but with lots of upside for the right lawyer. Our practice is entirely contingency fee-based, so when we get great results for our clients, we do well, too. So this is a job for a lawyer who wants to “bet on himself/herself.”
We are an equal opportunity employer and will consider all qualified applicants.
Perks
A few benefits:
* Health insurance available with dental and vision options
* 401(k) with generous company match
* Generous PTO Package
* For the past 20 years, the firm has closed between Christmas and New Year’s Day so the team can recharge and start the year fresh. So unless you have pressing client business during that time, you may take off that time along with our non-lawyer staff.
Who We Are
We are different from other plaintiffs’ law firms. We do not handle car accidents or workplace injuries. We represent individuals who have been injured by dangerous or defective drugs and medical devices. We also represent consumers in class actions across the country. Finally, we represent individual investors who have claims against their financial advisors. We do not represent defendants, ever.
We work hard and are passionate fighters for our clients.
The firm’s headquarters is located in Columbus, Ohio, in a beautiful building located in the Arena District, with abundant shopping and restaurants a stroll away, and next door to three professional sports complexes.
