The Ideal candidate will have 8 year’s experience in a Mechanical Engineering function while designing, developing and evaluating products, assembly and systems. Manufacturing and Process Engineering experience is a (PLUS).

Position Overview:
Design, develop, and evaluate a product, assembly, system, or process from concept through production stage, and make modifications as needed.
Lead Skills and Responsibilities:
- Oversee design projects from initial concept to final production.
- Conduct research and develop innovative design concepts, considering materials, specifications, and equipment.
- Facilitate the fabrication, installation, and testing of products, systems, or processes.
- Assess the viability and applicability of new or improved products or processes.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all design phases and project stages.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including customers, distributors, vendors, and suppliers, to initiate new designs and address challenges.
- Coordinate engineering efforts and provide technical support to internal teams and external clients.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in engineering design, methods, and applications.
- Provide or assist with training initiatives related to new or existing products or processes.
- Contribute to the quoting process as needed.
- Embody the company's core values in daily work.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety and ergonomic guidelines.
- Be prepared to perform similar or related tasks and assist in other areas as necessary.
- Actively participate in the division's quality management system, ensuring compliance with ISO standards through continuous learning and improvement
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of career experience. Furthers knowledge of profession through continued education and/or seeking or providing mentorship.
- Has critical project technical leadership responsibility; may plan or lead work assignments for lower-level engineers and technicians.
- Specific skills, proficiencies, and knowledge in field related to position, as identified by department leadership.
- Ability to apply design theory and methodology.
- Knowledge of manufacturing techniques is preferred.
- Well-developed problem analysis and problem-solving techniques. Proficiency with a computer, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
