MP and its affiliated companies have capitalized $4B+ of real estate spanning a variety of asset classes over the past 30 years. MP is building an operating platform to service its existing portfolio of 6,000+ units and new value-add acquisitions across the Western U.S.
Job Description
MP is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented analyst to join the asset management team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate is curious, resourceful, and analytical with a thorough understanding of multifamily operations and a passion for investment management. This role will play a pivotal role in overseeing property operations and performance. You will be directly involved in financial analysis, property management oversight, and strategic planning.

Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze property financial statements, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with property management teams to optimize operations and leasing.
- Assist in the development and implementation of value-add strategies.
- Support portfolio strategy by participating in planning sessions and recommending improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Operations, or related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred but not required.
- Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of team in a high-paced environment.
Compensation
Commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.
- Base Salary: $65-80k
- Bonus: eligible for a performance-based bonus up to 10%
- Benefits: insurance stipend
