The Operations Manager will oversee all daily operations of the High-Volume Stamping and Cup & Disc Production areas to ensure policies and procedures are followed. They will develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity. The Operations Manager would embrace and develop a continuous improvement culture. They would also help to coordinate, plan, and direct the activities used to manufacture parts.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities, Authorities:
- Decide best use of employees and equipment to meet production goals
- Ensure that production stays on schedule and within budget
- Train and evaluate workers
- Analyze production data to look for trends and areas of improvement
- Review the production plan on a weekly basis with the production team to ensure that the plan is being followed and products are made in a timely manner to meet shipment goals.
- Ensure that the Quality Control Department performs timely reviews of the incoming materials, final inspection and release.
- Provides guidance to the development of a manufacturing process plan, including personnel requirements, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs.
- Ensures that each department properly trains its employees in their job functions and documents such training with the proper sign off sheets.
- Write production reports
- Monitor the company's employees and programs to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements
- Streamline the production process
- Determine if new machines are needed or whether overtime work is necessary
- Resolve production problems
- Work closely with reporting employees to ensure smooth production flow
- Any other duties as assigned
Knowledge, skills, abilities, other:
- A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent in work experience
- 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 DOE
