We have a current opportunity for an HR Manager for a manufacturing facility. In this position, you will assist the facility leadership team by executing strategic business objectives that align with company goals. You will also oversee daily HR operations and manage legal & compliance issues in conjunction with HQ.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the efficient implementation of HR processes and policies across the organization.
- Translate strategic targets into measurable HR goals and effectively communicate them.
- Anticipate changes and adapt daily processes to evolving circumstances.
- Collaborate with teams to establish unified working practices and share best practices.
- Research and analyze employee trends to identify opportunities for enhancing engagement and retention.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of legal standards to minimize risks in employee management.
- Lead effective conflict resolution and address disciplinary issues.
- Oversee the manufacturing workforce in all HR and business matters, ensuring alignment with business objectives, clarifying role expectations, and improving staff performance.
- Manage all employee relations issues, including identifying and addressing legal and compliance concerns.
- Drive and support initiatives for employee development.
- Play a key role in the recruiting process in coordination with headquarters.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in Human Resources (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and complete tasks on time
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience with HRIS (preferably ADP & Oracle HRIS)
