Our patient population consists of individuals with depression, anxiety, mood swings, psychosis or trauma impacted conditions which require 24-hour intervention. We provide psychiatric assessment, medication management, individual/group/family therapy, and connect patients to referral resources available in the community. We work closely with the Emergency department, which is the access point for Behavioral Health admissions. Patients are provided a medical screening exam and stabilizing treatment prior to being transferred to the Marian Center or discharged with community-based resources
Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure.
Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements
Experience: Can be new or experienced LPN
Certifications:
- LPN-IV Certification must be previously completed or successful completion of course within 3 months of hire (range from upon hire to within 1 year)
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
Physical requirements/demands:
- Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift
- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
