We are seeking an experienced Lead FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Arrays) Engineer to join a Denver space company, focused on developing next-generation satellites
You will lead firmware development, particularly for FPGAs, from architecture to final deployment.
FPGA Responsibilities
- Lead the end to end Design, develop, and test firmware for advanced Field-Programmable Gate Arrays-based sensor products.
- Oversee the firmware lifecycle: from requirements gathering to implementation and integration.
- Work with high-performance FPGAs (Xilinx Ultrascale+, etc.), transceivers, and associated tools like Vivado.
- Ensure firmware quality assurance using a CI/CD pipeline in collaboration with software QA engineers.
- Lead cross-functional teams and conduct design reviews to optimize system performance.
FPGA Engineer Requirements:
- BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 10-15+ years of experience in firmware development, particularly FPGA design and high-speed transceivers (PCIE, 10GigE).
- Strong knowledge of SystemVerilog/Verilog and experience with Agile development practices.
- Experience in embedded systems, Python scripting, and Linux environments.
