Job Description:
A private Hamptons family is seeking a part-time nanny for three school age children. The role is part-time, with an afternoon schedule, roughly from 2:00pm-6:00pm and may occasionally require weekend availability. The ideal candidate will assist with homework, and keep the child engaged by creating fun and educational activities. The candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude and a caring approach to all tasks, whether large or small.
Requirements:
- Strong command of the English language; superb communication skills, both written and verbal
- Spanish language skills are a plus
- Excellent references from current and/or previous employers
- Minimum 2+ years related experience working as a Nanny with a private family
- Flexibility in scheduling
- Positive, warm, fun, with a supportive personality and calm energy
- Professional in both mindset and manor; use of utmost discretion at all times
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Legally able to work in the United States
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- School pick-ups, coordinating daily activities; providing/supervising transportation both to and from lessons, appointments, and extracurricular activities, etc.
- Assisting with homework
- Preparing after-school snacks and light dinner prep
- Light housekeeping, including tidying up after children
- Occasional help with the mother-in-law's appointments or errands (e.g., doctor visits, picking up prescriptions)
- Additional Nanny and household responsibilities as needed and requested by the principals
