Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Lemon Law Defense Attorney with 1-10 years of experience to join our legal team. This is a fully remote role open to candidates across California. The successful candidate will represent automotive manufacturers and dealerships in defending against lemon law claims under California's Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defend lemon law cases from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
- Handle a high-volume caseload involving the defense of warranty claims.
- Represent clients in court, mediation, arbitration, and settlement negotiations.
- Analyze case merits and develop defense strategies that meet client objectives.
- Collaborate with clients, witnesses, and expert consultants to ensure case success.
- Ensure compliance with court procedures and state regulations related to lemon law.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to provide case updates and strategy discussions.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in California.
- 1-10 years of experience in lemon law defense or consumer protection litigation.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Experience in handling a high-volume caseload.
- Knowledge of California lemon law and warranty statutes is preferred.
