Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing design projects from inception through completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and the highest quality standards. This role requires effective leadership, a thorough understanding of construction drawings, and the ability to provide comprehensive construction administration support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee design projects from start to finish, ensuring all objectives are achieved.
- Develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring financial compliance and efficiency.
- Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
- Effectively allocate and manage resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment.
- Accurately interpret and apply construction drawings and specifications.
- Support construction administration with site visits, submittal reviews, and responding to RFIs.
- Act as the primary client liaison, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Ensure that projects meet quality standards and comply with all regulations.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- +2 years of project management experience within the architecture or engineering industries.
- Expertise in interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and best practices.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools.
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
