Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sourcing Manager to implement corporate-led category strategies within the fast-paced Marketing & Sales sectors of our local US organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and execute the Corporate Category Strategy for Marketing & Sales categories.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and gather local market intelligence to enhance sourcing efforts.
- Evaluate and classify sourcing risks, devising effective risk mitigation measures to manage exposure.
- Identify, assess, and maintain relationships with existing and potential local suppliers.
- Use Business Review Meetings and KPIs to address and resolve potential issues proactively.
- Actively manage local Business Partners, ensuring alignment of common goals and effective communication.
- Coordinate demands from Business Partners within Sourcing, sharing relevant information to support their needs.
- Optimize buying channels and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Utilize sourcing tools such as e-sourcing and reverse auctions to negotiate and execute contracts, maximizing the use of Master Services Agreements (MSAs) and Frame Services Agreements (FSAs).
- Oversee the Supplier Performance Management Program for assigned categories.
- Promote supplier diversity within the assigned categories.
- Potentially lead and drive regional sourcing projects.
- Coach stakeholders on sourcing policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years in sourcing, with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficient in demand management, market and supply analysis, negotiation, total cost of ownership, and project management.
- Experience sourcing for Marketing & Sales, Creative Services, Data Analytic Services, Market Access, or PR. Knowledge of evidence generation, AI, and machine learning is a plus.
- Strong background in supplier relationship management, market assessments (RFI/RFP), and change management.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to influence teams and achieve consensus.
