We are seeking a Full-Time Senior IT Support Engineer for an onsite role in San Francisco, CA. This position requires the ability to provide prompt support, with employees expected to reach client sites within an hour. The ideal candidate will handle various technical challenges, providing expert guidance and top-tier support to end-users, particularly those in executive positions. Regular video conferencing with team members and clients is essential, fostering clear communication and collaboration. We're looking for professionals who can effectively multitask, adapt quickly to client needs, and apply active problem-solving skills to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver high-quality, executive-level support to clients both onsite and remotely.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships.
- Promote the adoption of modern cloud technologies.
- Monitor and support cloud systems and infrastructure, including Microsoft Office 365, Azure, and Cisco Meraki.
- Design, implement, document, and manage clients' infrastructure, applications, and system management tools.
- Assist with maintaining cybersecurity, cloud, and high availability strategies.
- Support the Project Management Team.
- Communicate complex technical solutions to end-users and decision-makers.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of assets, configurations, processes, and more.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver the best solutions for clients.
- Assist team members as needed and commit to continuous learning and development.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of recent experience providing end-user technical support, including to executive-level users.
- Strong expertise in macOS and Windows desktop environments.
- Experience with Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365.
- Familiarity with networks, including switches, firewalls, TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity tools and best practices, including next-generation antivirus, endpoint protection, DLP solutions, disk encryption, SSO, and MFA.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and perform under pressure.
- Onsite availability Monday through Friday.
- Availability for on-call duty once per quarter for a week.
Preferred: 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
COMPENSATION
- Salary Range: $90,000-120,000, plus bonuses.
