Responsibilities:
- Electrical Design: You will prepare electrical load, short circuit, and voltage drop calculations. You will also create electrical power, lighting, and fire alarm drawings, punch lists, and complete electrical schedules while sizing feeders, branch circuits, and panels.
- Standards Compliance: Ensure that all designs adhere to client and industry standards, guidelines, and specifications.
- Field Work: Conduct surveys and field observations of electrical systems and equipment.
- Client & Vendor Collaboration: Regularly communicate and coordinate project activities with internal team members and clients. You’ll also work directly with vendors to evaluate and select equipment, with guidance from your supervisor.
- Project Reviews: Assist in reviewing electrical shop drawings and provide input on costs for Division 26 equipment and systems.
