Ancel Glink is looking to add a Labor and Employment Attorney to the team. The attorney will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as acting as a legal advocate for public sector clients and advising on different employment matters.
Position Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court, mediation, and collective bargaining hearings.
- Review employer handbooks, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct employer investigations.
- Advise employers on federal and state labor and employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ADEA, PLAWA).
Position Requirements:
- 5 years of prior experience in the collective bargaining or public sector.
- Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to travel around the Chicago-land area and within the state.
