Position Summary
The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing program development to ensure the successful execution of complex projects from initiation through completion. This role requires a hands-on leader capable of driving programs with tight schedules, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining high standards and best practices. The ideal candidate will be adept at guiding cross-functional teams, handling both financial and technical elements of programs, and ensuring clear communication with customers, stakeholders, and sponsors.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Program Oversight: Develop and manage detailed program plans covering schedule, budget, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies, aligning activities with established procedures and industry-standard best practices.
- Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional team meetings to assess program status, address risks, and plan tasks and future actions.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring consistent communication with customers, key internal stakeholders, and program sponsors.
- Decision-Making: Act as the final authority on all program decisions, guiding team performance towards success.
- Bid and Proposal Support: Participate in bid and proposal activities, preparing quotes for new and follow-on programs as requested by customers.
Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of relevant experience
