Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary
The RN is accountable for direct patient care and of monitoring the care provided by other ancillary personnel. Provides exceptional care and service to patients, residents, guests and fellow employees at all times. Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship. Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Ethical and Religious Directives.
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate of a Registered Nursing Education program preferred.
- One-two years of experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Current South Dakota RN License or “multi-state privilege” depending on location of clinic.
- Current BLS Certification within 60 days of hire
Work Schedule
- Day Shift: 8:30am-5:00pm; 80 hours every 2 weeks
- No weekends, holidays, or on-call time!

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
