Job description:
Reid and Riege, P.C., a mid-sized Connecticut law firm with a well-established Corporate / Business Services practice, seeks a self-motivated Legal Assistant with three to five years of experience to join our downtown Hartford office.
Primary Duties:
- Assist with document management, drafting, proofing, and editing legal documents and correspondence.
- Opening, closing and maintaining electronic and hardcopy files.
- Calendaring deadlines.
- Efficiently communicate with Firm members and clients.
- Assist attorneys with time entries and billing.
- Assist with special assignments as requested.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as a legal assistant in Corporate / Business Services practice (preferred).
- Document management experience (iManage experience a plus)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
