Senior to Principal Hardware Systems Engineer (C++, Linux. Storage/Network/Cloud applications)
Perm position with a growing 380 person Saas company in Marlborough MA.
Person must be available to work ONSITE a min of 3 days a week with the software and hardware engineers.
Salary range: $140k-170k.
MUST have direct experience testing STORAGE software applications.
Requirements:
5+ years of systems Hardware COTS systems integration experience.
5+ years Reliability and Testing of STORAGE applications across various Hardware and server systems.
Expertise with BACKUP/Storage/Recovery applications is REQUIRED. (Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup, etc)
BSCS Degree
NO contractors. NO H1b visa candidates. NO relocation.
Latest guidance from the hiring manager that this is a Systems centered role on the Hardware team.
Person must know BOTH the software applications side as well as what Hardware systems work best.
IDEAL person will have maintenance and development of hardware monitoring, management and test software in Java, Python, C, C++, bash and perl. STRONG familiarity with Server/Appliance Hardware
Components and how to configure/optimize them. (CPU, Memory, HDD, NIC, RAID Controller, etc)
