Job Responsibilities
This individual reports to the VP of Marketing and will drive product marketing initiatives that enhance the visibility and adoption of Fierce’s offerings. Product Marketing is critical in ensuring our clients have the best possible experience, from initial product awareness to post-launch support.
The primary goal of this individual will be to ensure all revenue-facing teams have the product knowledge, competitor/market insights, and collateral necessary to win. They will own sales enablement, collaborating with cross-functional teams (Learning & Development, Marketing, Sales, and Client Success) to create compelling marketing collateral and support key deals. Simultaneously, they will have an eye to the future, building the runway for scalable revenue growth tied to product launches. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for research, storytelling, content, and innovation.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Create Product Collateral: Work closely with the Learning and Sales teams to develop and deliver engaging training and marketing collateral for new and existing products. Maintain the sales collateral database to ensure all collateral is current, relevant, and impactful.
- Support Sales Execution: Proactively partner with the Sales team on key deals to ensure they are armed with the collateral, competitor intelligence, and product knowledge necessaryto win. Deep dive into deals from a marketer’s viewpoint to uncover ways marketing can help position Fierce’s products throughout the sales cycle.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will be evaluated and selected utilizing the following experience:
- Research and Analytical Skills: Ability to gather and interpret data from various sources to provide actionable insights and recommendations for product positioning.
- Marketing Collateral Development: Proven experience in creating persuasive and visually appealing marketing collateral and decks for training and development products.
- Client Relationship Management: Experience working with clients to develop compelling success stories and testimonials that drive brand credibility.
- Launch Expertise: Successful track record in leading product launches, from strategy to execution, especially in leadership development or related industries.
- Technical Expertise: A deep understanding of sales, in addition to revenue tools such as Salesforce, Hubspot, and Zoominfo. While you won’t be selling, you’ll need to think like both a buyer and a seller in order to proactively support the sales team.
- Video Production: General familiarity with video content creation and the ability to work with internal teams to produce high-quality marketing and testimonial videos.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery of marketing assets.
