Associate Planner
This entry level position for a military facilities planner serves on multi-disciplinary planning projects for the Department of Defense. As part of project team and under the supervision of a Project Manager or Senior Planner, the Associate Planner will assist in the development innovative solutions to address client needs. The associate planner plays a key role in the development of Basic Facility Requirements (BFR’s), Asset Evaluations (AE’s), Military Construction Documents (Form 1391s), as well as assisting in the development of Concept Studies for military installations. The Associate Planner compiles data and conducts research in support of project deliveries and assists in client interviews. Produces client material for project meetings. This position involves some remote work and requires up to 50% travel.

Must be located in the state of Virginia
Excellent writing and communication skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite required
Proficiency with Adobe InDesign
Must have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, Geography, or related field
Must be able to obtain a security clearance and travel internationally
Preferred
Proficiency with ArcGIS preferred
Proficiency with AutoCAD preferred
Prior military service preferred
Salary Range $52,640 - $68,830
