ROLE
Charlesbank is recruiting to hire an Analyst to join the Investor Relations team sitting in Boston. The Analyst will work closely with the entire Investor Relations team and colleagues across the organization on the firm’s investor relations and fundraising activities. The position will enable the individual to gain the foundation and experience needed to continue pursuing a career in Investor Relations.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
Investor Relations
- Respond to investor inquiries and information requests, coordinating with various internal constituencies – Investment teams, Finance, Legal, Compliance, etc.
- Coordinate and assist in the tracking and fulfillment of follow-up materials from investor calls and meetings
- Assist with preparation for the firm’s Annual Meeting, including drafting materials
Fundraising Support
- Maintain up-to-date investor marketing materials, investment track records, case studies, etc.
- Preparation of fundraising related materials (PPMs, DDQs, pitchbooks)
- Help populate and manage institutional-quality data rooms to facilitate due diligence processes
- Coordination of on-site meetings and diligence sessions, including the participation of Charlesbank professionals and incorporating appropriate marketing materials
- Develop a working knowledge of relevant fund governing documents
Analytical Activities
- Assist with the preparation and review of content and analyses related to the firm and overall market
- Analyze and compile information on the firm’s portfolio companies and fund performance to fulfill investor requests and populate marketing materials
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, with strong overall GPA
- Min. 1-2 years’ analytical experience, with working knowledge of alternative assets preferred
- Open to multiple backgrounds, including investment banking, placement agent, consulting, fund audit, etc.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Advanced Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint) skills required
