Brian Christopher (@BCSlots) is the leading social media creator in casino gaming, with a thriving online community of over 8 million monthly viewers. His award-winning content production & marketing firm, BC Ventures is seeking a talented and hyper-organized Operations Coordinator to join our team in Palm Springs, CA. This position is full-time, and you will work under the supervision of our Vice President, Product Development.
As Operations Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be day-to-day administrative support of our business operations, including website content setup in our web publishing platforms, video content setup in social media platforms, as well as various reporting and information management tasks. In collaboration with the Production Manager and our leadership, you will work to seamlessly execute media scheduling and uphold operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the VP, Product Development in making website updates with a keen eye for accuracy, including setup of daily article pages, continued maintenance of our Events and Press listings, among other content sections.
- Perform staging of content for both BCSlots.com and FlipTheSwitch.com as part of our strategic web initiatives, by meticulously perusing established templates and ensuring thorough additions of assigned media (image assets, embedded video, hyperlinks, etc.)
- Pull internal performance reports for our web business and affiliate marketing program by compiling data from various reporting sources.
- Support the Production Manager in uploading & scheduling daily videos to publish across YouTube and Facebook with the utmost attention to detail, fulfilling video setup ahead of our programming schedule on an ongoing basis.
- Consistently activate monetization and take quality assurance steps for every scheduled video, including verification that monetization parameters properly remain in place after each setup, and double-checking of all data entry components (given title, description, hashtags, etc.)
- Monitor video monetization daily by perusing social media dashboards, identify any system-flagged issues such as reported content or copyright claims, promptly submit appeals for review and internal revision requests.
- Support the Senior Director, Corporate Development and broader Team with flagship events (including on location) to deliver world class experiences to attendees and sponsors alike.
- Assist with accurate filing of both physical and digital documents in relevant folders and programs. Maintain extremely organized files and shared drives with respective categorization.
- Help with the creation of internal documents and materials in support of the business.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in digital media, analytics, administrative assistance, and/or business administration.
- Must have superior organizational skills, with unmatched attention to detail and double-checking own work.
- Excellent written communication skills, grammar, spelling, and high quality emails.
- Talent and expertise in data entry, working with data, creating spreadsheets, and checking data for accuracy.
- Extensive knowledge of the Google Business Suite toolset (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Mail, Calendar). Working knowledge of YouTube Studio, Meta Business Suite, and WordPress a plus.
- Ability to learn fast and be a quick adopter of new web platforms and software.
- Creative problem solving, and the ability to work independently with a positive, solution-driven demeanor.
